Hello! My name is Venkatsai, but you can call me by my middle name, Shri. I am a first-year medical student at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. I previously studied Biomedical Engineering at Brown University, where I was also part of the PLME.
As an undergraduate, I investigated the effect of impact loading on brain cell populations in the Srivastava Lab. I previously interned for a summer at the Mayo Clinic, where I designed 3D microstructures for immune cell phenotyping.
Outside of academics, I enjoy reading short stories, exploring film photography, taking on small coding projects, and writing the occasional commentary to support my Meiklejohn advisees.
